It’s Christmas time and one of my favorite gifts to get is always a cookbook. I am a cookbook hoarder! I thought I would share with you my cookbook gift guide with our favorites and the ones that are on my list this year in case you have someone that loves to cook and are not sure what to get them! There is something for everyone on this list.
The Joy of Cooking
is a CLASSIC and it has a recipe for everything! I received this as a wedding gift and have made many recipes from it but my favorite is the Risotto! We love to make it with beer can chicken and cooking it is like therapy for me!
I gave Guy Fieri Food to my husband last year for Christmas. His pizza sauce is divine and the hubby loves cooking from this book. I love having him cook from this book!
Emeril’s Louisiana Real and Rustic
brings back so many good memories. When Mr. Information and I started dating we used to cook from this cookbook all the time. Our dates were cooking dates! One of our favorite’s from this book is the Turkey Gumbo
which is perfect to make the day after Thanksgiving!
The Fresh Mex Cookbook is one you, most likely, have never heard of. I worked at Rio Bravo as a waitress and loved it. They were owned by Chevy’s. The Fajita and cheese dip recipes in this book are head above heels the best if you love mexican food like we do!
If you love slow cooker recipes Slow Cooker Revolution
has some great recipes that are family and company friendly. Lasagna in the slowcooker is amazing and so easy!
When we went to NY for Thanksgiving we ate at Bobbie Flay’s Mesa Grill and we are total fans! He is a master of the grill and Bobby Flay’s Boy Meets Grill
will not disappoint!
I hope you find something for the foodie in your life, or for yourself as well in my Cookbook Gift Guide. I can’t wait to see what we all get!Links on this page are affiliate links, please see my disclosure policy
