Are you seriously ready for buttered buffalo chicken wings? My family loves anything make with buffalo sauce like our slow cooker buffalo sandwiches and my buffalo blue cheese french fries. Matthew, our youngest, is a huge fan of wings but sometimes they are a little spicy for him. My husband used butter to cut the spice down some and well everything’s better with butter right?
We made four types of wings when we grilled them for dinner – Serrano Pepper (for the grown ups), Asian Teriyaki, Honey BBQ (my favorite), and of course these buttery delicious wings for my son. At the bottom of this post are links to the other recipes so you can try them all – and trust me here, you will want to try them all:
It only takes four ingredients for these wings and they are perfect straight off the grill. These are super yummy served with blue cheese or ranch dressing depending on your preference. (Everything is better with ranch dressing! Where are my ranch people at?) Don’t forget the traditional sides – carrots and celery sticks – and a cool beverage of your choice. May I suggest our Mason Jar Lemonade Cocktail for the grown ups?
- 10-15 Wings
- 2 tbsp. BBQ Rub
- 3 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup Moore's Buffalo Sauce
- Put your wings on a plate or in a zip top bag and sprinkle on BBQ Rub
- Coat wings with BBQ rub seasoning.
- Melt Butter and put into a second zip top bag with the buffalo sauce
- Grill wings for 10-15 minutes per side or until cooked through
- Put into the bag of sauce and shake or squish around to coat.
If you like a bit of spice try the Serrano pepper wings (might want to serve something less spicy to the young children in the crowd – the honey BBQ wings would be perfect). For a less spicy version try the Honey BBQ Wing and for no spice fans there the Asian Teriyaki wings. Let’s take one more look at these saucy, buttery, delicious wings. You will definitely want to serve them at your next BBQ or game day bash – Super Bowl party, anyone? Enjoy!
