My favorite wings are Honey BBQ Grilled Chicken Wings. These wings have a sweet sticky BBQ sauce with a slight kick that make the perfect grilled chicken wing. They are great and not too spicy for kids so the whole family will love them.
We made four types of wings (Serrano Pepper, Asian Teriyaki, Buttered Buffalo and of course the Honey BBQ I’m sharing today) when we grilled them for dinner and at the bottom of this post are links to the other recipes so you can try them all – but fair warning, it’ll be hard to choose your favorite:
With two ingredients and a grill you are well on your way to an easy appetizer or main dish. These are perfect served with blue cheese or ranch dressing but you really don’t need it they are so good already. BBQ is made for licking your fingers so go ahead and do it after you eat them! You might need some wet wipes when you’re done, because you’re going to be saucy!
- 10-15 chicken wings
- 2 tbsp. BBQ Rub
- 1/2 cup Moore's Honey BBQ Sauce
- Put your wings on a plate or in a zip top bag and sprinkle on BBQ Rub
- Coat wings with seasoning.
- Grill wings for 10-15 minutes per side or until cooked through
- Put in a zip top back with Honey BBQ wing sauce and shake or squish around to coat.
If you like a bit of spice try the Serrano pepper wings. For a no spice version try the Asian Teriyaki wing (this is a great alternative for kids as well). Just click on the pictures below to get the other recipes, then check out the link for how we cooked these on the Big Green Egg.
We absolutely love our Big Green Egg. Inexpensive grills (and we had a few before we found this one) eventually rust out and fall apart, but not the Egg! It’s so solid, we may end up passing it down to our boys when they grow up. I’ll let them fight over who gets it first. 😉
OK back to the wings – and one last look. They are so saucy, so yummy…I may need to make another batch of these babies tonight!
