I love our favorite traditional margarita recipe but when we want to return to the tropics and have something fun or something a little more unique, this is our go to Margarita. You can make them for a party in a margarita machine, in your blender or mix the ingredients and pour over ice. I love my margarita slushy and icy! I love my Margaritaville margarita machine for the perfect icy margarita but you can also make them perfect in a high powered blender like the Ninja blenderBlue Curacao Margarita Recipe. How to perfectly salt the rim of a blue curacao margarita.

Many people have a strong opinion on salted vs. unsalted rims but there is a secret to getting the perfect salted rim. Before pouring your margarita into the glass Take a lime wedge and run it around the edge of the glass, pressing hard to make sure you get the juice all over it. Pour course salt onto a small plate and press or roll the glass rim into it. Then pour the margarita into the glass in the center to keep from messing up the edge. Add a wedge of lime or put an orange slice and cherry on a skewer or cocktail pick to decorate and you have the perfect margarita.

My all-time favorite margarita is the mint margarita! You just toss in fresh mint leaves into a traditional margarita recipe, and blend. Looks really pretty garnished w/ some fresh mint leaves too!
