This is an easy jambalaya recipe that is from my friend Angele. Angele grew up in New Orleans so you know it has to be good!  Her brother is in the 610 Stompers and if you have never seen them you should check out their site. They are a bunch of business men, judges and lawyers that dance in gold 70’s outfits that look like something Richard Simmons would wear.

Here is an EASY but GREAT Jambalaya recipe, it’s wonderful for party’s, company or watching a football game.

This recipe is so easy with Zatarain’s jambalaya mix. It’s got a little bit of spice but not to much for kids. Just add a little of your favorite hot sauce to kick it up a bit. If you want to cook it for a party or football game just put in in your crockpot on warm to keep it heated.

You add the shrimp at the end so it stays tender and doesn’t become rubbery. You will love it and want to make it all year round not just at mardi gras!
