The best kids Halloween movies vary, depending on the age of the kids. But there are some universally accepted family friendly Halloween movies, and those are being shared here today.
We love to have family movie and game nights. When the kids were little we started collecting holiday movies and we like to pull them out a few weeks before any holiday to start the excitement. I’m going to share our favorite kids Halloween movies so you can start your own library or choose one or two to share with your kids.
These are all family friendly, some are classic and some are newer so there is something here for everyone! They are in no particular order by favorite, but the top row is more enjoyable if you have older kids, the middle row smaller kids and the bottom row are more classic movies. If I did have to pick a favorite it would definitely be It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!

- Monster House
– A fun story about a cranky neighbor whose house eats kids toys as soon as they touch his yard. D.J. is a boy who has seen it but no one believes him. Available on Download DVD

- Mickey Mouse Clubhouse – Mickey’s Treat
– It’s time for Pete’s Halloween Party, follow the adventures as your favorite characters make their way with handy dandy mousekatools DVD
- It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown (Remastered Deluxe Edition)
– A yearly classic in our house with Snoopy as the Red Barron and Linus patiently awaiting the Great Pumpkin. Download DVD
- Casper

– Sea Monsters, Vampires and Mummy’s make this madcap mayhem lots of fun. Make sure to cook up some Scooby snacks to watch the fun. DVD
