Valentine’s “Ice Cream” Cone

by Kelley Wilson Filed Under: Holiday, Kids Crafts, Parenting, Valentines 2 Comments

I was downloading my camera and realized I forgot to share this cute valentine Garrett got, which of course Matthew promptly stole. Good thing his big brother is so sweet. I fell in love with this Ice Cream cone Valentine and had to share with you so you can make them.

Here was the stash he brought home from school that day.

And this was the AWESOME ice cream cone Valentine he got from a friend in his class

To make these cute ice cream cone Valentines all you need are
  • ice cream cones
  • cotton candy
  • treat bags
  • ribbon
  • tags

Take an ice cream cone and put a handful of cotton candy in the top to look like ice cream. Place your “ice cream” cone into a plastic treat bag and tie with ribbon or a twist tie.  The cute card tied to the bag said, “Valentine, Here is the scoop. I like you!” Hole punch the card and tie them to the bag. This is such a simple Valentines idea and so fun to recieve.

Here is the cute little treat inside, multicolored cotton candy put in a sugar ice cream cone,

Can't remember where I found the idea. I made them a couple of years ago also. I purchased everything at the dollar store except the cones:) glad you liked them:) I made 60 of them. I told Rick to make me buy the boxed ones next year:)
