Yesterday I shared with you how to make a recipe page and a linky party page for your blog
Every time I sit down to do a post where I have to do a screen shot I forget how, then I look it up and it says to do ALT and PRT SC, well for some reason on my computer it doesn’t always work and I am hitting the keys 50 times in utter frustration. While writing yesterdays post I came across the wonders of the windows snipping tool! This tool is the bomb for bloggers! All you have to do is go to the start menu at the bottom of your screen, it’s that little circle that glows at the bottom left.

While writing yesterdays post I came across the wonders of the windows snipping tool! This tool is the bomb for bloggers! All you have to do is go to the start menu at the bottom of your screen, it’s that little circle that glows at the bottom left.
In the search menu type in snip and you will see a little pair of scissors and the words snipping tool come up in the menu click on it and you will see this.
Then you just drag cut the part of your screen you want to show a picture of.
If you right click on the search result the next time you bring it up in the start menu you can save it to your task bar like I did here. You know so you can use it incessantly and really irritate your readers Bwaa Haa Haa Haa.
Once you snip the item you can draw on it with a pen, highlight something on it, or erase and redo. Then you just save it like you would a picture! It’s so easy and the best part is you can cut out things on your desktop you don’t want other people to see! Hope this helps you next time you need to do a screen shot!
And hey look you can even do this to your husband with it! Tee Hee Hee
