Just so we are clear there are 2 jobs that I HATE doing when it comes to homemaking; dishes and  putting away laundry. It was a happy day when Garrett reached the age that he could unload the dishwasher!  I will avoid it at all costs and I am not one of those people who need to go to bed with a clean sink. I had to figure out how to remove rust from stainless steel because some evenings we would leave a few dishes in the sink and when I went to load the dishwasher I would end up with rust rings.

This time tt was not just one rust ring but a few (oops sorry I forgot to empty the drain basket before I took the pic ewwwww)

I am sure there is some natural made from your cabinet solution that you could DIY, but I’m going to make this easier for you. Go buy Bar Keepers Friend! I promise it will be your friend too and you will find a lot of other great uses for it.

All you have to do is sprinkle it on and use the rough side of a kitchen sponge over the rust. You don’t have to scrub hard the abrasives in the cleanser do all the work for you.

As you can see it’s sparkling clean. Barkeepers Friend also works really well on toilet rings and hard water stains!
