Easy birthday parties can be just as cost effective as having it at home with less stress for you and lots of fun for your kids. My first son was born on Thanksgiving day with holidays in full swing it makes it really hard to have a party that time of year. In addition, it’s usually cold in the south so outdoor parties are not always possible. I’m a planner so I don’t like to bet on the weather. When my firstborn turned one I went all out. I had a custom cake, slide show and a hot dog bar. We invited all our friends and family over. Not only was their lots of planning and set up for the food but I had to get the house cleaned and tidy before the party. After the party. I was exhausted and now had to re-clean the house in the messy aftermath. I knew there had to be a better way. By his third birthday, I decided to try something new and had his party out of the house and I was sold. He loves going to Chuck E. Cheese’s so I got on my computer to check out how much it would cost to have his birthday there. It found it’s easy to book online and once I compared the cost it was the same amount or less to hosting it at home with much less work and stress for me. I was able to book everything online and there are discounts for earlier times in the day if that works for your schedule. I could also send themed online invitations through Punchbowl if I wanted to.
There are lots of options to choose from to customize your party and fit any price range. Chuck E. Cheese’s will handle it all including the cake, ice cream, goodie bags and more. Each birthday boy or girl can choose a superhero, princess, or Chuck E. Cheese’s T-shirt to wear at the party and they get to go in the Ticket Blaster to win extra prize tickets. If you have twins or joint birthdays with friends it’s just $4.99 extra for the second child to receive their theme of choice and a chance in the ticket blaster.
I opted to bring my own pirate ship cake and goodie bags, but that is all I had to do besides show up! When I got to the restaurant I met my party hostess, who had contacted me in the days prior to our birthday bash to introduce herself and see if I had any questions. She helped me with anything I needed during the party by getting drinks, more pizza and extras like wings and a veggie platter for the adults. The best part was that she cleaned up after the party. The party lasted for two hours which was plenty of time for the kids to play games,
ride rides,
and dance with Chuck E. Cheese and friends.
The kids had a blast and when we got home Mom was relaxed and happy which to me was the best part! You can find your local Chuck E. Cheese’s on their website and book your party now. I’d love to know if you are looking forward to having a birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese’s and what you think will be the best thing about it!
