Milestone Birthday Sucker Gift

by Kelley Wilson Filed Under: Crafts, Crafts and DIY Leave a Comment

Anyone in your life having a milestone birthday? This milestone birthday sucker gift is fun and easy to make. I made this one for my sister in laws 30th birthday but you can use it for any milestone. It's really easy and inexpensive and gives everyone a smile. This fun gift is perfect for any milestone birthday and it's easy to make with a craft punch, suckers and an inexpensive flowerpot

What you will need for this 30 Sucks Flower Pot:

  • 1 small flower pot
  • ribbon to go around the top and bottom of your flower pot
  • scalloped circle punch
  • scrapbook paper
  • suckers
  • 1 sheet of green tissue paper (or color of your choice)
  • 1 styrofoam ball that fits into the opening of your flower pot
  • Glue Gun and white glue

Take your plastic flower pot and hot glue the ribbon around the top and bottom. Next take the styrofoam ball and put white glue on half of it. Cover the ball with green tissue paper and put the side with the glue facing up into the pot. You can use any color of tissue paper you like I just wanted mine to resemble grass or moss.

To make the sucker flowers take your scalloped circle punch and scrapbook paper and punch out about 20 circles. These will become your flower petals. This is a great way to get rid of any small scraps you have laying around. Next punch the suckers through the middle of the scallop, you could use a hole punch if you have one that will reach but we just pushed them right through. Working from the top and going around until you reach the bottom push the sucker flowers into the foam ball until you have filled your pot. This fun gift is perfect for any milestone birthday and it's easy to make with a craft punch, suckers and an inexpensive flowerpot

Finally, I printed 30 Sucks on yellow paper and cut it with the same craft punch I used for the flowers and pasted it to the front. It gave my sister in law a great laugh and it was fun for the kids to help me make it.
