A simple way to make a thoughtful but quick Teacher Thank You Gift for the end of the year with your child and these end of year teacher gift tags that are free to print and share!End of Year Free Printable Teacher Gift Tags

Nothing like waiting to the last minute, right? I always have the best intentions when it comes to gift giving.  I start thinking about it a month in advance and spend hours browsing Pinterest for ideas.  And then I think, well this is silly, I have plenty of time.  Then I forget.  And before I know it, it's the last day of school and I'm scrambling to get something together at the last minute.  What I love about printable gift tags is that it looks like you took the time to personalize your gift, even if you just slapped it on 5 minutes before you gave your gift!  Today I'm sharing with you some great end of year teacher gift tags you can download and print for free, as well as a cute end of year teacher gift idea.

These little tags are great on anything – a bouquet of flowers, taped to a gift card, you name it! You can download them for free in a minute, but first, let me tell you one simple way to make a thoughtful but quick Teacher Thank You Gift for the end of the year with your child:

I got a large tub at the Dollar Store and we filled it with potting soil. Then we planted a flat of Panseys. Instead of having the gift tag hang, we made it more like a little sign by gluing it to a wooden popcicle stick.

Finally, we added wooden sun garden pick. To make this, I got a small dowel and the wooden sun – you can find these at any craft store. Ethan painted the sun . Once it was dry, I wrote his teacher's name in the middle. We used wood glue to adhere the sun to the dowel. It's as simple as that!

These cute little circle tags are great for small gifts, like candy bars, mason jar lids, gift cards, or other small gifts. You can print them on cardstock and cut them out with a 2.5-Inch Circle Paper Punch.  They also work perfectly with the Avery 2 1/2 Inch Diameter White Labels (5294).
