In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, chili paste, garlic and ginger. Reserve 1/2 of the marinade in a bowl.
In a large bowl, combine pork pieces and 1/2 of marinade. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
Heat grill to medium heat.
Thread pork, bell pepper, onion and pineapple pieces onto skewers. Discard marinade that pork was in.
Place skewers grill.
Grill for 5 minutes. Brush with reserved marinade and turn over. Grill an additional 5 minutes. Brush with reserved marinade and grill for 25 additional minutes turning occasionally to prevent burning or until pork is fully cooked.
**If using bamboo skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes before using.
