Layered Pie In a Jar - Apple Blueberry

Use any pie filling you want to make these fun layered pies in mason jars.

Ingredient List

  • 2 store-bought Pillsbury refrigerated or homemade pie crusts
  • 1 20 oz can each blueberry and apple Comstock pie filling
  • Optional:
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • vanilla ice cream


  1. Pre-heat your oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Using the inside top of a mason jar lid as a guide cut 3 circles of pie filling out per jar.
  3. Place the first crust in the bottom of the jar.
  4. Spoon 1/4 of a can or 5 oz. homemade blueberry pie filling in the bottom of the jar.
  5. Layer another circle of pie crust on top.
  6. Spoon 1/4 of a can or 5 oz. homemade apple pie filling on top.
  7. Put the 3rd layer of pie crust on top and cut a cross in it with a knife.
  8. Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and sprinkle on top.
  9. Place jars on a cookie sheet and place in the oven.
  10. Cook for 30-45 minutes, until the top crust is browned, and the pie filling is bubbly.
  11. Serve topped with ice cream.
