Make Your Own Deli Meat in the Slow cooker

Slow cooked Turkey Breast makes the perfect sandwich and saves on all those chemicals.

Ingredient List

  • 1 turkey breast
  • 1 cup low sodium chicken stock or water
  • 2 stalks Rosemary
  • 1 onion cut in ringed slices
  • 1 lemon lime, or orange
  • 2 tablespoons of unsalted stick butter
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt and pepper.


  1. Pour chicken stock into the bottom of the slow cooker.
  2. Place 2 stalks of rosemary and onion slices on the bottom of the slow cooker
  3. Cut citrus fruit into fourths and put inside of turkey breast.
  4. Place Breast into slow cooker.
  5. Cut 2 tablespoons of butter into 4 slices and put under the skin of the turkey breast.
  6. Season top with salt and pepper.
  7. Cook on low for 6 hours.
