Pre-heat your oven to 400 degrees
Spray a 10 1/2 inch tart pan or pie dish with non-stick cooking spray or spray olive oil.
Place your room temp pie crust into the dish and press into the sides.
Bake Crust for 5 minutes then prick the bottom with a fork and bake for 5 minutes more.
Remove from oven and turn up oven to 425 degrees.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat, add tomatoes, green onion, fresh basil, salt and pepper.
Saute for 10 minutes or until it's reduced by 1/2.
Drain off any excess liquid using a colander if you wish.
sprinkle cheese over the bottom of the crust then spread the tomato mixture over the cheese.
Whisk the eggs and 1/2 and 1/2 together.
Pour over the mixture.
Bake at 425 degrees for 10 minutes.
Reduce oven temp to 375 degrees and bake for another 30-35 minutes.
Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
