Ingredient List

  • 2 Pieces of Salmon
  • 2-3 Baby Bok Choy Heads
  • 3 Russet Potatoes
  • 1 Tablespoon Wasabi Powder
  • 3 Tablespoons Sambal
  • 4 Tablespoons Cilantro Sprigs
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1/2 Cup Heavy Cream
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Olive Oil


  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
  2. Cook the Potatoes
  3. Peel potatoes and cut into 2" pieces.
  4. Place in a pot and cover with cold water
  5. Cook on medium heat until they are fork tender.
  6. Strain and put into a mixing bowl with butter and heavy cream and whisk till fluffy and creamy
  7. Mix the wasabi powder and a few drops of water and make into a paste.
  8. Add 1/4-1/2 of the mixture and blend in, taste, then add more to your liking.
  9. Cook the Salmon
  10. Heat a saute pan over medium to high heat and add 2 tsp of oil to the pan
  11. Add a pinch of salt and pepper to the salmon then add to the pan
  12. cook on each side for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown - set aside to rest
  13. Roast the Baby Bok Choy
  14. Tear off each rib of Bok Choy individually and place into a large bowl.
  15. Add 1 tbsp oil to the bowl and salt and pepper to taste
  16. Place Bok Choy on a baking sheet and roast for 4-5 minutes or until it is limp and beginning to brown around the edges.
  17. Plate the Dish
  18. Place part of your mashed potatoes in the middle of the plate
  19. Top the potatoes with the roasted Bok Choy
  20. Place the salmon on top and spoon 1 1/2 tablespoons Sambal over the top
  21. Garnish with Cilantro
