Ingredient List

  • 1 1/2-2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 10 oz bag or 1 1/4 cups Pictsweet frozen onion
  • 1 12 oz bag or 1 1/2 cups Pictsweet frozen shoepeg corn
  • 1 12 oz bag or 1 1/2 cups Pictsweet frozen field peas with snaps
  • 1 12 oz bag or 1 1/2 cups Pictsweet frozen lima or butter beans
  • 1 12 oz bag or 1 1/2 cups Pictsweet frozen uNbreaded cut okra
  • 1 12 oz bag or 1 1/2 cups Pictsweet frozen mixed veggies
  • 2 10.5 oz cans Hunts pureed tomatoes
  • 2 14.5 oz cans Hunts diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon each salt and pepper

Directions

  1. Brown your ground beef and put into your slow cooker
  2. Add all bags of frozen veggies
  3. Pour in the pureed and diced tomatoes and water
  4. Stir gently with a spoon
  5. Sprinkle on salt and pepper
  6. Cook on low for 6-8 hours.

You do not need to use Pictsweet or Hunts brand products in this recipe. You can also substitute other veggies or proteins for any of your favorites
