Bacon and Onion Brussel Sprouts

Ingredient List

  • 1 Bag of brussel sprouts about 25 of them stems cut and any bad leaves on the outside removed
  • 5 Pieces of Bacon
  • 1/2 Sweet Onion cut into quarters then sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 -3 tablespoons butter
  • Salt to taste


  1. Heat a saute pan on medium-low.
  2. Cut Bacon into 1/2 inch pieces and scatter into the pan.
  3. Once the fat starts to render (or bacon starts to cook and you see some grease) throw in the onions and garlic.
  4. Cook until bacon is crisp and the garlic and onion are softened.
  5. Throw in the butter and brussel sprouts.
  6. Turn in pan with a spatula or spoon until sprouts are bright green and tender approx 15 min.
