We are leaving on a vacation with my entire family to San Diego. To celebrate I am leaving you with one of my favorite summertime cocktails, white wine sangria. There is nothing better than ice cold wine in the hot summer heat!
It’s summer and I love white wine! I love it any time of year but especially when it’s ice cold and I’m not. (Which happens a lot now. I’m in my 40’s and it has nothing to do with the weather outside) This is a recipe which I adapted from my friend Rebecca and I hope you all like it, it’s great for a party or tonight I am serving it with Korean Beef Tacos! Yummy!
Dice your apples with the skin on. Slice the lemons and limes into rings and put all the fruit in the bottom of your pitcher.
Over your fruit pour 1 cup of brandy so your fruit soaks up all that yumminess.
Then add your sugar and stir it all together.
Pour in the 2 bottles of wine and put it in the fridge for at least 2 hours! When you are ready to serve, pour in sprite to the top of the pitcher and gently stir, it will be cold but you can also serve over ice if you wish.
I hope you enjoy this, it is really refreshing on a hot summer day! I’m going to sit on my back porch and enjoy a glass.
