
When it comes to making dinner easy and you step into the frozen food section are you worried about it being healthy? I try to be conscious as much as possible without being crazy about it. Currently in our home we have sports practices 4 out of 5 weeknights which can make it hard to get a quick meal on the table and as a blogger who makes recipes all the time quite frankly I get in ruts and the last thing I want to do is cook! Can you relate? Is this how your wish every dinner looked all the time?
I have found that sitting down on the weekend and making a menu for the week helps me to focus and not worry about it. I then make a shopping list and go to the store Monday Morning. The other day I was at Kroger and picked up a Michael Angelo’s Eggplant Parmesan and Lasagna with Meat Sauce. Kroger is having a Taste of Italy Event through October 13th. Michael Angelo’s family dinners are made in small batches with no preservatives or artificial ingredients so I know they are the right choice for my family when I need a quick and hearty meal. They take only 35 minutes to cook in the oven which was enough time to make a salad, garlic bread and set the table to eat together. Eating together is important, but hard to do sometimes. I had the eggplant parmesan and it was loaded with layers of eggplant, cheese, and rich tomato sauce.YUMMMM!
