Sunrise Breakfast Smoothie Recipe

Looking for a yummy breakfast smoothie recipe? This Grapefruit smoothie is sweet and healthy, even if you didn't think you like grapefruit this will have you loving it!  Grapefruit is in peak season in January and February so if you don't have access to it just use a Dole fruit bowl like I did here. The banana, frozen mango and orange juice make this smoothie slightly sweet. If you like it really sweet add a little honey. You can use frozen banana as well, find out how to freeze them here.

It's like a glass of sunshine to start your morning right and it's healthy. You will feel so good and energized after you drink it, you'll want one every morning. There is nothing quicker in the morning for breakfast and you can make all sorts of combos with whatever fruit you have in your home.

Grapefruit, Banana, and Mango Sunrise Smoothie

Ingredient List
  • 1 Dole red grapefruit fruit bowl
  • 1 ripe peeled banana
  • 10 pieces of frozen mango
  • 1/2 cup of orange juice
  • 1 cup ice
Directions
  1. Put all the ingredients in the blender placing the unfrozen ingredients in first.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Serve
