When going to an event I take the meatballs right in my slow cooker to keep them warm. I put them out with Parmesan cheese in a shaker and the bread in a basket. You can also have a shaker with red pepper for people who like a little spice out as well. You really can’t get any easier than this recipe. Use your favorite marinara sauce but I love one with lots of rich flavors, so I use Rao’s. They also have a sensitive formula marinara sauce if you’re stomach reacts to the acid in tomatoes. It’s chocked full of herbs and real tomato chunks. To make these rich and meaty sliders you just dump a bag of meatballs in your slow cooker and pour over a jar of marinara sauce. Let them cook on low and that is it!

Slow cooker meatball sliders are rich and meaty and full of flavor. My kids love them for a quick weeknight meal after soccer practice with a salad and chips.

  1. How many does this serve?
    1. Hi Meaghan, It depends on the amount of meatballs in bag and the size of your buns. The package I used had small meatballs and had 50 in it. My buns required 2 per bun so it was 25. If you double the recipe I would do 1 1/2 jars of sauce then add more if you need it at the end.
  2. These look so good! What a great game day recipe!
