These slow cooker meatball sub sliders are a quick and easy crowd pleaser and perfect for any party! You can make them for a quick weeknight meal but I love to make them when I need an easy appetizer for a party.
When going to an event I take the meatballs right in my slow cooker to keep them warm. I put them out with Parmesan cheese in a shaker and the bread in a basket. You can also have a shaker with red pepper for people who like a little spice out as well. You really can’t get any easier than this recipe. Use your favorite marinara sauce but I love one with lots of rich flavors, so I use Rao’s
. They also have a sensitive formula marinara sauce
if you’re stomach reacts to the acid in tomatoes. It’s chocked full of herbs and real tomato chunks. To make these rich and meaty sliders you just dump a bag of meatballs in your slow cooker and pour over a jar of marinara sauce. Let them cook on low and that is it!
