Homemade popsicles are a wonderful summertime treat, but pre-made treats tend to be packed with tons of unnecessary sugar. Making your own cool treats is a great alternative, and, having the kids help is a great way to make summertime memories.

I love this Hamilton Beach quick pop maker which is like the Zoku quick pop maker but a third less in price. It freezes my popsicles in 10 minutes so there is no waiting for my popsicles to be ready. When I make these I don’t want to wait I want to eat them immediately and really I just don’t want to hear the kids asking every 2 minutes when the popsicles are going to be ready.

Some fresh fruit and vanilla flavored Premier Protein shakes is all you need to get the fun rolling. These shakes are just 160 Calories, 1g of sugar, 24 vitamins and minerals and no artificial colors, this is a shake you can enjoy without guilt. Plus, they are low in fat and high in protein {30g!} The best part? Premier Protein comes in chocolate, which is my favorite!
