Elf on the Shelf Ideas

20 Great Elf on the Shelf Ideas to get you started on your holiday antics
Elf on the Shelf is one of our favorite holiday traditions. We have 2 elves in our home. Dude is Garrett’s elf and Tommy is Matthew’s elf. Each year they come to stay with us on Thanksgiving night. The boys start talking about it a few days before Thanksgiving. Each morning they come down the stairs and look to see what Tommy and Dude are up to. We have two so that each boy will have one to use with their kids one day. It is so much fun to see the joy and mischief they get into. Sometimes it’s hard to come up with new ideas. There are days that we come down in the morning and realize they forgot to move and are in a mad dash to put them somewhere! That’s when they end up in a stocking or sitting in the tree. When we get caught we use the excuse that Tommy and Dude must not have wanted to report something bad to Santa so they stayed here.
I want to make your life easier this Christmas so I have done all the work for you and found some great Elf on the Shelf ideas for you to use with your friendly elf.
