Cranberry Wreath DIY Napkin Rings

by Kelley Wilson Filed Under: Christmas, Crafts, Crafts and DIY, Holiday 3 Comments

Cranberry wreath DIY napkin rings dress up my holiday table, and they can dress up yours, too! Cranberries are one of my favorite things to decorate with, and these are made with the wooden cranberry beads from a piece of garland. Changing the ribbon allows you to use them for Thanksgiving or Christmas.

Here are affiliate links for your convenience to purchase all of the items you will need to make a set of cranberry wreath DIY napkin rings for your holiday table.

If you purchase through these links I make a small commission at no extra cost to you.

  • 12 Gauge Wire
  • Wooden Cranberry Beads
  • Needle Nose Pliers
  • Wire Cutters
  • 3/8″ Ribbon

I made a set of eight DIY napkin rings in less than an hour. All you need are wooden cranberry beads, wire, and ribbon. I used 12 gauge wire because I already had it in my stash, but you can use a smaller gauge if you like. Don't get it to thin because your napkin rings will not be strong enough to hold their shape. I cut about an 8″ piece of wire and then strung twelve cranberries on each one. These Cranberry Wreath DIY Napkin Rings are so cute and easy to make to dress up your holiday table

Next take a pair of needle nose pliers and twist the ends together so that they wrap around and form a closed hook. These Cranberry Wreath DIY Napkin Rings are so cute and easy to make to dress up your holiday table

Take wire cutters and snip the long ends off, then use pliers to smash the “knot” together, making it as tight and small as possible. If your ring looks misshaped just pull and bend it back into a circle. Add some decorative ribbon of your choice around the knot and you are finished! The ribbon I used is 3/8″ wide.

When I got married, the in thing to get was Christmas china. I didn't want traditional Christmas china with trees on it, so I chose Spode's Pink Tower. It has a Christmas feel, but will work any time of year. My cranberry wreath napkin rings look so festive with my red and white Christmas china, I can't wait to set the table.
