It’s Fish Friday! Salsa Verde Talapia

At New Years we spent time with some of our Best Friends Julie and Jorge. While cooking my Baked Fontina I mentioned that I needed some good fish recipes. She rattled off this one and it was so easy to remember I didn’t have to write it down…which is amazing these days because I seem to forget EVERYTHING!So here are the ingredients:

Yea I know your saying, “Wow how labor intensive”

Spray a baking pan or sheet with non stick spray or olive oil. lay the Talapia in the dish and then sprinkle Old Bay over the fish, not to heavy but not to light either.

Then pour on the Herdez Salsa Verde, I use a lot because I like to use some as sauce on my rice.

Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes and serve over rice.
It’s just as good the next day reheated!
Thanks Julie for this great recipe and today is Jorge’s Birthday Happy Birthday Jorge!

Not really it has a little zing but I would compare it to Mild Salsa

I really need to make fish more often. You have inspired me! This looks tasty! I'm sure the salsa verde adds some yummy flavor! Thanks for sharing at oopsey daisy!

We're planning to have this on Friday!! Can't wait to try it. I couldn't find the kind of salsa you used – I'm hoping that the one I found isn't too spicy :)
