Country Living Fair @ Stone Mountain, Ga.

This weekend has been NUTS! Friday I was in bed all day with a stomach virus. Luckily Saturday I was fine and was able to attend the Country Living Festival and meet some great Bloggers, mostly from GA. Beth at Unskinny Boppy took this picture and I borrowed it, thanks Beth!

There is some fabulous talent here. I usually am not quiet but I must say I was a little overwhelmed to say the least by these talented ladies. Some of the fabulous blogs represented in this pic are DIY on the Cheap, Duel Family, PlumdoodlesThe Fugal Homemaker, Southern Hospitality, Coastal Colors and  At the Picket Fence.

Yea WOW, pick my mouth off the floor. My friend Becky went with my yesterday and we had a great time looking around. The pavilion always has wonderful table scape ideas I just loved this one.

and this great way to decorate your hearth or it would be great by the front door
How about a simple basket of gourds

I really loved this pine cone “chandelier” I would love to try to make this with lights!

These feathers sticking out of a vine wreath topped by pumpkins, how simple but beautiful

OK so obviously I have been in the closet for some time being a mom but meet Folk Magazine, it is a true masterpiece of a magazine. BEn was nice enough to come introduce himself to us and take his picture with us above.

I loved loved these pumpkins, they are old chenille bedspreads dyed and made into pumpkins with a stick stump and raffia, so cute!

And these trees, made from batting stuffed tree’s and antique dishware. There were small ones made with sugar bowl as well that were so cute!

This was the pumpkin pile at the front of the fest it was a wonderful day and so much inspiration to be had everywhere! Unfortunatly I was not able to stay long as I would have liked, I had to go make multi-gallons of hot chocolate for a school Trunk or Treat movie night.

I'm a mom of 3 boys, 2 by birth one by marriage. I love to cook, watch chick flicks, read and drink wine. I hate cleaning up my craft messes, doing laundry and the dishes! I love watching my boys grow and change and see how differently they view the world. Join me on the blog where I try to provide you with recipes and tips to make your life easier!
