Buttered Italian Shrimp

Pin It Now!

Have you seen this on Pinterest? I pinned it a long time ago and finally got to try it. The person I pinned did not have a blog and put the recipe up, now it seems that pin is gone and I cannot find her name to give her credit for it but I have to say this is one of the best and easiest shrimp recipes I have ever had.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 lbs of Shrimp
2 Lemons
1 1/2 Sticks of Butter
1 package of Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix

Line a cookie sheet with tin foil. Melt the butter in your microwave or on your stove top and pour onto cookie sheet, slice lemons and dot across your cookie sheet in the butter. Toss Shrimp in the Dressing Mix and put onto the cookie sheet. You do not need to toss in the butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 Minutes.

Serve with a crusty baguette for dipping and a salad. I promise you will not be disappointed!

  6. Wow, that looks incredibly yummy! My husband won't eat shrimp but I don't see why I couldn't do it with chicken for him. Never thought about using the dressing mix before like that!

  9. I've been trying to find the original source, but from what you say, that might be impossible. At any rate, this recipe is SO good...hate to not be able to give the original pinner credit!

  16. I've made this recipe for a few years now. We call it beach Shrimp. We use a bottle of Kraft Zesty Italian instead of the mix. It is so yummy. We've served it over rice, noodles or with just italian bread.

  20. This looked so good! I didn't have any shrimp but when I got home I defrosted a package of chicken tenders. I fixed them exactly the same way and they were wonderful! One of the comments I had read was to try it with chicken. My husband gobbled it up! Yummy! Next I will try the shrimp!
