Lego Land San Diego

Pin It Now!
As those of you who read my blog know last week My parents took our entire family on a vacation. Every other year they take us on a Family Vacation instead of giving us Birthday gifts. This years agreed upon location was

I thought I would share with you some of our Vacation. They rented a 4 bedroom house for us to stay in and it was really great. We were able to be with each other instead of trying to find a hotel room to cram into.

I learned some new things about San Diego on my trip. I thought for sure that being so far south it would be really hot. Not so Joe! None of the houses have air conditioning....yes you read that right. They don't need it. It may be sunny in the day but there is always a cool breeze and I could totally live here! (Honey when are you opening your west coast office?)

So our first day here we went to Lego Land. We did this first so we would not have to hear all the boys saying "When are we going to Lego Land" 50 times a day.

There is also a new Legoland in Orlando for you East Coasters that just opened. When we first walked in we got our first "photo op" turned out pretty cute I think! Notice both kids squinting in the son instead of wearing the sunglasses they both had....

All the boys were about having a Map so they could see what was next, it was really cute to watch them studying it at every stop.

(yea now they are wearing there sunglasses...in the shade)  The detail of the lego sculptures here is unbelievable here is a life size elephant

And here is an up close of Luke Skywalkers Face so you can see the detail

They have lots of great rides, something for every age although some are a little cramped for Paw Paw's

One of the best things there is the Lego mini land, they have an entire Star Wars section which was Garrett's favorite part

They also had famous city's and Landmarks made out of Legos, New York, Vegas, San Francisco to name a few

They also have a lego Duplo land for the little ones, how cute is this!

This was a great day and a place I would go again. It's great for all ages at at 3 years old Matthew was able to ride almost all of the rides.
