When you have a blog you very often link up to "Linky Parties" for those of you who don't speak blogger-ese these are parties where all of us in blog land have a party and share with each other on one blog all of our recent bright ideas, crafts, or recipes. Well thanks to linkies and Pinterest I made this!
It was great and if you saw the fabric they used you would not believe it! So I decided to give it a try with the intention of making it out of our school plaid for a friends daughter. I went and bought this fabric to practice on.

I am not here to re-invent the wheel so you can go to Sister See Sister Do to see the tutorial, however I will share with you some things that helped me that are not on the tutorial.
First the thought of cutting out circle by circle one at a time was mind numbing and I have no patience so a folded up the fabric so that it was 6 layers thick and clipped it with a paper clip to hold it. This made it go super quick.
When I was ready to glue the pieces into wads I found it did better for me to do a circle so that it would wad up tight.
Hazzard of the job!
On the back of mine I used a hair clip and make sure you put your finger in between the clip while it dries so you don't glue the clip together!
Now how cute is this?
So I was so excited I decided to make another but I forgot to clip the ends into a triangle. I decided to just go with it and see what happened and here it is,
they both look great I think, which one do you like the best?
Thanks Michelle and Julie for a such great Pin-spiration!

This is so cute and great choice of fabric. I agree with the circles and stack them too! I'm just not patient enough to cut them out individually. I'm now a follower and I found your post from the Trendy Treehouse Linky Party. Thanks for sharing!
