So every week on Pinterest I have a board that I put up to share what I am trying for the week. If I like it you will see it here on the blog and on my "What I tried and Liked from Pinterest" Board. I would love for you to follow along with me and share what you think about the recipes.
So last week I pinned this from Playing With Sugar
I made them as directed and they were fantastic! They would be perfect with anything!
To go with them I decided I wanted a blue cheese steak sandwich. I bought a flank steak, I put a generous amount of salt, ground black pepper, and Weber Steak and chop Seasoning
I let it sit on it for about 30 min out of the fridge so the meat could come to room temp. My hubby grilled it on The Big Green Egg until it was medium rare. While the meat rested I toasted some whole wheat rolls with lots of butter. Then I added put on the toasted roll some arugula and blue cheese (don't skimp on the cheese).
Hubby sliced the flank steak against the grain and we put it on top of the blue cheese. The warm steak melted the blue cheese and it was D-Vine!
The fries were crispy and wonderful, the best I've ever had!
I hope you enjoy both of these recipes, there are tons of subs and additions you can do with this sandwich like Spinach, tomatoes, peppers and onions. Let me know your favorite combo!
