Ok so they say cleanliness is next to godliness, well if that is the case then I'm gonna be stuck in purgatory for a long time! I used to have what I call a Domestic Goddess come in every 2 weeks but that is not in the budget right now so I am on my own. I do mean on my own literally because I am the only female in a house with 2 slobs and a 3 year old who does hold some promise.
I am determined to figure out how to be a June Cleaver in a Rosanne Barr world (yea I know keep dreamin right) Our home is what I call a 5, 4 and a door, 5 windows on top, 4 on the bottom and a door stuck in there somewhere. It is a traditional southern home and our town is filled with this style home.

So in the spirit of Spring Cleaning here are some things I have found to help. All of these and more are located on my Pinterest Board for Cleaning and Organizing. If you don't have a Pinterest account send me your email and I will send you a link.

ReplyDeleteI think breaking up the cleaning daily helps tremendously! Otherwise if the whole house needs cleaning I dread it! I also find a "family cleanup" helps knock a lot out in a shorter time.

I just went thru the post that “how to clean your ceiling fan”. It is simply a cool idea. If we use a pillowcase then we can wipe off the dust into the cover. Great tip.
