One of my girlfriends was telling me about her buffalo chicken sandwiches she makes in her crock-pot. I love using my crock-pot but I am a bit of a snob about what I cook in it. She forwarded me this recipe and I searched around and found this one as well from Chef in Training.
And this is what I did:
I took out my crockpot and put in one of my favorite slowcooker liners from Reynolds.
In it I put 4 frozen chicken breasts, 1 bottle 16 oz Moores Buffalo Wing Sauce, and 3/4 packet of Hidden Valley Ranch Buttermilk Dressing Mix.
I let it cook on low for 6 hours, then I shredded it with 2 forks in the pot and threw in 2 tablespoons of butter. Yes just looking at the melted butter should make your mouth water! I cannot tell you how good my house smelled at this point!
I let it cook for 1 more hour. I decided because we had so many to use whole wheat hoagie rolls. I took a few tablespoons of reduced fat cream cheese and some blue cheese and mixed them together. Then I spread it on the bread.
Then pile on your buffalo chicken and some red onion,
I cannot tell you how good this was, it was excellent and it was quick and easy. Check in later this week to see what I did with the left overs!

This looks so good. Love buffalo chicken wings but don't eat very often since it's so high in calories. I'll use lower calorie Ranch dressing and don't think it will hurt the flavor too much. thanks for sharing, looks so good. Haven't seen you in a while, and yy fingers are crossed that you'll back and share at Sunday's Best Party tonight. Miss ya!
